Data engineering, race strategy and trackside support for race teams, from the first run to the final debrief. Plus engineering support in the workshop when the car is off track.
Available for the 2027 seasonI'm Sia Linnemann, a motorsport data engineer and race strategist. Through SLiQ Engineering I support race teams at the track with data, strategy and session support, and in the workshop with engineering and documentation work.
I've worked across GT4, Porsche Carrera Cup, endurance racing and historic Formula 1, and I'm completing a BSc in Automotive Engineering with a minor in Motorsport Engineering at Fontys. Before engineering, I spent more than 1,000 hours in the pit lane as a race official, so I know how a race weekend runs from both sides of the pit wall.

Mainly trackside, for single events or a full season. Between events, I also take on engineering work in the workshop or factory.
At the track
Getting the right data from the car and turning it into decisions the team and driver can act on.
Clear calls under pressure, built on preparation done before the weekend starts.
Keeping the weekend running smoothly, from session planning to the pit lane.
In the workshop

Engineering support behind the scenes: documentation, CAD, parts and tools that keep a programme running. I currently do this at Parabolica Racing on historic BMW Sauber and BMW Williams Formula 1 cars.
Every assignment is different, so I quote per event or project.

Garage set up, logger and channels checked, car ready for the first session.
Session analysis, setup changes and live strategy on the pit wall.
A written debrief with the data, the decisions and the next steps for the next event.
GT4, Porsche Carrera Cup, endurance racing and historic Formula 1, at the track and in the workshop. Full CV available on request.
Revising a 2003 BMW Williams Formula 1 engine, with the aim of making the revision a repeatable process. This includes digitising and modernising records, and organising CAD files and documentation into a bespoke database: a full blueprint of the engines and the revision process, so these engines and cars can run in modern-day competition.
Event-based work for teams and partners under my own business, including:
Supported the team at the GT4 Germany season finale at Hockenheim, where the team secured the overall drivers', Pro-Am and teams' championships.
Trackside engineering at Westfield Cup rounds and customer events: data acquisition, telemetry and video analysis, driver coaching, session planning and setup evaluation. Started as a university race engineer before moving into a paid role.
Returned for a six-month internship after first joining the team in June 2025 as an apprentice data engineer on a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS at Spa. Workshop and trackside engineering in the GT4 European Series, Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, Belcar and 24H Series, and built a MATLAB machine-learning tool for NLS race strategy decisions.
Supported the restoration and running of the BMW Sauber F1.07 and F1.09, including CAD work, 3D scanning, parts sourcing and documentation. Worked trackside with original BMW Sauber F1 personnel at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Completed more than 1,000 hours as a race official, leading and supporting teams of up to 40 officials at national and FIA/SRO events at Zandvoort, Silverstone, Donington Park, Brands Hatch and Baku.
